Scrub tops take a beating on a long shift. Ours are cut to bend, crouch and reach with you, with pockets placed for the gear you carry between patients.

We’re a family of veterinarians, so we design scrub tops for women and men around how a shift feels on your body. Styles, fits and sizes can vary between our stores, so the range below depends on where you’re shopping.

Scrub Tops Made for Long Shifts

Every top in the range has 4-way stretch, so the fabric moves when you lift a dog onto the table, kneel beside a kennel or reach across a bed. It’s sweat-wicking and quick-dry, and it comes out of the dryer wrinkle resistant, so you can skip the iron.

Fabric depends on the line. Our printed, Planet Friendly and VetCore™ tops use 92% recycled polyester and 8% spandex, with Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certified yarn in the printed and Planet Friendly styles. Solid Classics tops use 74% polyester, 20% rayon (vegan silk) and 6% spandex.

Types of Scrub Tops

Classic V-Neck Scrub Tops

Our 3-pocket tops have a mid-depth V-neck and light tailoring that looks neat at handover and still gives you room to move. Women’s printed styles have two roomy front pockets plus an internal pocket for rings and keys. Men’s styles have two side pockets and a chest pocket.

Tuck-In Scrub Tops

Tuck tops are cut to sit inside your joggers or scrub pants. They drop the lower pockets so nothing bunches at your waistband, and keep a chest pocket with a pen slot.

Vet Med Scrub Tops

Our VetCore™ Vet Med Scrub Tops were designed and tested by vet professionals for clinic life. The fabric is fluid resistant and anti-static to help repel fur, so a wipe deals with most spills before you’re onto the next consult.

Deep, angled side pockets stop your gear tipping out when you crouch to a patient on the floor, and the chest pocket has an ID loop for your badge. Pair them with the matching cargo pants with GENU™ removable knee protection from our vet med scrubs range.

Depending on the season and the store, you’ll also find other cuts, like an oversized drape fit.

Women’s Scrub Tops and Men’s Scrub Tops

Women’s scrub tops have subtle tailoring through the body, with sizes starting at XXS and most core styles running to 3XL. Browse women’s scrubs to match your top with pants in the same fabric.

Men’s scrub tops run XS to 3XL on their own size chart, so measure against the men’s sizing guide rather than converting from a women’s size. Shop men’s scrubs for tops and pants together.

Pockets, Fit and Sizing

Pick your pocket layout by what lives on you during a shift:

• Internal pocket: rings and keys while you scrub in or glove up.
• Front or side pockets: phone, scissors, a roll of tape, treats for a nervous patient.
• Chest pocket: pens, a penlight and your ID badge.

Size for movement. Check your bust, waist and hip measurements against the women’s size guide, and size up if you’re between sizes or like a looser fit. Building Your Scrub Set

Pair your top with scrub pants or joggers, and add underscrubs on cold early starts in the clinic or ward. A scrub cap keeps your hair contained during procedures, and compression socks give your calves 15 to 20 mmHg of graduated support through a day on your feet.

What is a scrub top?

A scrub top is the shirt half of your work uniform, usually a V-neck in easy-care stretch fabric, worn with scrub pants or joggers. Ours add pockets placed for clinic and ward work.

What are the different types of scrub tops?

Most fall into classic V-neck tops, tuck-in tops and job-specific tops like our vet med range. Neckline and pocket layout are the quickest ways to tell them apart.

How should a scrub top fit?

You should be able to lift, reach and crouch without the fabric pulling across your back or shoulders. If you’re between sizes, size up.

Can I wear something under my scrub top?
